Digitization: CeMAT with Logistics 4.0 Experience Hub showcase
Digitization is having a major impact on logistics supply chains. The "Logistics 4.0 Experience Hub" at CeMAT will spotlight the supply chains of the future as well as the challenges facing the industry. Running the length of CeMAT from 23 to 27 April 2018, this special showcase will consist of some 30 exhibitors showcasing the latest technology involving goods transport, incoming goods, production, warehousing, order picking, packing and outgoing goods.
A German exhibitor will focus on order picking, while another company will demonstrate state-of-the-art product handling using vacuum technology. Further topics are innovative solutions for unloading and palletizing container goods, identification solutions and new Augmented Reality solutions. Apart from these product presentations, logistics providers will provide in-depth information at the Speakers' Corner. The Experience Hub will be supplemented by topic clusters highlighting the latest research findings, including drones, robotics and Augmented Reality.
In 2018, CeMAT will have a completely new look, being co-located for the first time with Hannover Messe. The traditional time of year will also change: Instead of a biennial appearance in May or June, the logistics industry will be showcased from 23 to 27 April in pavilions 32 to 35 as well as in adjacent halls at the Hannover Exhibition Grounds.
