Following the successful events of 2022 and 2024, IAA TRANSPORTATION will once again take place at the Hannover Exhibition Grounds of Deutsche Messe AG from September 15 to 20, 2026.

Under the new motto “WE DELIVER,” IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 represents the shared goal of advancing climate neutrality in logistics and transport through innovative strength, digitalization, and intelligent partnerships.
Whether electric, hybrid, battery and fuel-cell drivetrains; bio- and synthetic fuels as well as combustion engines (Euro 7); connected and autonomous vehicles; software-based logistics systems; intelligent fleet solutions; urban mobility concepts; or realistic feasibility studies – the focus is on how the industry can deliver together in an ecological, economic, and social sense. Charging infrastructure is also a key topic, especially the nationwide and international expansion of public charging networks. IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 creates space for ideas, impulses, and exchange on sustainable mobility, digitalization, energy, and infrastructure, showing how transformation can become reality through the intelligent and sustainable integration of innovative technologies along the entire supply chain.
In September 2026, Hanover will bring together manufacturers of commercial vehicles and buses, body and trailer producers, companies from micromobility, cargo bike and small vehicle providers, suppliers, technology companies, service providers, and startups – all demonstrating how the commercial vehicle and transport sector is actively shaping change.
IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 consists of five event elements. National and international exhibitors will present their innovations to an international professional audience at the IAA Exhibition. At the IAA Conference, international thought leaders, decision-makers, visionaries, and experts from the logistics and transport sector will discuss the challenges of our time and present their solutions and visions for the future of global and regional transport on two stages through keynotes and panel discussions.
IAA Experience actively involves trade visitors, enabling them to test the latest commercial vehicles and cargo bikes live. Exhibitors also have the opportunity to inspire professional visitors with real-world use cases from the transport sector. The IAA Startup Area offers startups the chance to present their innovations side by side with market-leading companies. In addition, IAA TRANSPORTATION will once again welcome private visitors in 2026 with the IAA Drivers’ and Family Weekend.
IAA TRANSPORTATION 2024: A Look Back
A review of IAA TRANSPORTATION 2024 demonstrates the event’s relevance for the industry. In 2024, the exhibition showcased numerous pioneering technologies and solutions shaping the future of transport and logistics. Nearly 1,700 exhibitors from 41 countries used the unique opportunity for networking and exchange. According to exhibitor surveys, 93 percent of exhibitors successfully reached their most important target groups. International participation rose to a record 72 percent, and more than 145 world and European premieres were presented, illustrating that the future of mobility is already a reality in this sector. Around 145,000 visitors attended the exhibition halls in September 2024. IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 promises to continue this success story and to help shape the future of the transport and mobility industry.
