The creative combination of mechanical engineering, robotics, and coffee culture was enthusiastically received by trade fair visitors.
With a more than highly successful appearance at K 2025 in Düsseldorf, BOY draws an extremely positive conclusion. The injection molding machine manufacturer from Neustadt-Fernthal presented itself with a broad range of exhibits, numerous practical applications, and an exceptionally high visitor turnout in Hall 13, Stand A43.
“K 2025 was sensational and gives hope for the future. Our expectations were far exceeded,” said Managing Partner Alfred Schiffer.
He continued: “The response was outstanding throughout – on all days of the trade fair we were able to hold many qualified discussions and registered a large number of concrete project inquiries. Our machines and applications convinced trade visitors across the board. Enjoyment and precision were offered by the crowd-puller Electric BARISTA.”
The BOY Barista Bar was an undisputed highlight, where the BOY 50 Electric, together with a collaborative robot, served freshly brewed espressos in specially injection-molded NAS® ECO 30 cups. The creative combination of mechanical engineering, robotics, and coffee culture was enthusiastically welcomed by trade fair guests.
“With the Barista Bar, we were able to demonstrate that cutting-edge technology and emotion work perfectly together – it was a true highlight of our trade fair appearance,” said Marketing Manager Julia Kröll.
Particular attention from visitors was drawn to the new BOY 20 E PRO, which was presented for the first time as the successor model to the BOY 22 A PRO. The compact entry-level model impressed with state-of-the-art servo drive technology, significantly reduced energy consumption (50% less), and a fresh design. “The machine was very well received by customers and partners alike – we see great potential here in the market segment for lower clamping forces,” said Andreas Scheideler, Head of Domestic Sales.
The Electric series, especially the new BOY 100 Electric, also met with great interest. The fully electric 1,000 kN machine completes the electric portfolio at the upper end and underscores BOY’s expertise in modern, high-performance injection molding technology.
BOY’s electromechanical injection molding machines also impress with numerous technical advantages that significantly increase efficiency, precision, and cleanliness in the production process. These include, among others, dosing in parallel with mold movements, highly dynamic injection processes, parallel movements during ejection, and outstanding positioning accuracy – all while maintaining a lubricant-free mold area and a compact design.
The integration of the LR 5 robot into the Procan ALPHA® 6 control system demonstrated impressively how BOY continues to advance the field of automation. Numerous visitors were impressed by the user-friendliness and compact design of the BOY system solutions.
With nine exhibits at its own stand and seven additional machines at partner stands, BOY showcased a strong, practice-oriented spectrum of its portfolio.
The combination of technical highlights, intensive professional discussions, and a noticeably positive atmosphere made K 2025 a complete success for BOY.
