The Viega trade fair stand at ISH 2025 received three awards at once: the Red Dot Award 2025 in the category Brands & Communication Design, the German Design Award 2026 in the category Excellent Architecture/Fair and Exhibition, and the Iconic Award 2025 in the category Architecture/Event and Exhibition. These internationally renowned awards honor the trade fair concept, which stages the Viega brand through a clear architectural structure and a consistent communication design.
The trade fair presence at this year’s world’s leading trade fair for water, heat, and air translated the company’s purpose, “We install the lifelines of the buildings of tomorrow,” into a spatial concept. Architecture, materials, and communication design were aimed at making this claim visible in terms of content and design and at making the Viega brand tangible. The new stand concept was developed in collaboration with the design agency Braunwagner from Aachen (Germany).
Focus on drinking water, energy transition, and digitalization
On more than 1,300 m² of exhibition space, Viega addressed three key future issues at ISH in Frankfurt am Main in March: the protection of drinking water, the energy transition in the building sector, and digital transformation. With holistic system solutions, Viega demonstrated how these challenges can be mastered with expertise in the fields of heat, water, and digital building. The focus of the new, thematically structured stand concept was on conveying complex technical topics in a clear and vivid manner and on promoting dialogue with trade visitors.
International recognition
“Our trade fair stand clearly shows what Viega stands for: responsibility in the use of water, technical innovation, and cooperation on equal terms,” explains Markus Brettschneider, CEO of the Viega Group. “That this concept is also receiving international recognition makes us very pleased. It is also a confirmation of the path we have chosen as a company.
Team performance
“Behind this success,” adds Markus Brettschneider, “is above all a great team. By this I mean not only the colleagues who worked intensively on the trade fair stand concept, but also our partner agency Braunwagner. We understand partnership on equal footing not only in our dealings with customers, but also in collaboration with external partners. The shared result shows what is possible when expertise, creativity, and trust come together.
Recognition by international juries
The Red Dot Award, the German Design Award, and the Iconic Awards all rank among the most important international design honors. The Red Dot Award recognizes projects that impress through design quality and communicative clarity. The German Design Award, presented by the German Design Council, honors outstanding contributions in product, communication, and architecture and highlights their design relevance for business and society. The Iconic Awards, also initiated by the German Design Council, honor visionary architecture, innovative products, and sustainable communication in the interplay between architecture and design.
